ABOUT THE PIECES

Where are AMIKE STUDIO pieces made?
Amike Studio pieces are handcrafted in Rwanda by Aline Amike together with our network of women artisans. Different elements may pass through several hands before coming together in Kigali.

Are all pieces handmade?
Yes. Our pieces are made by hand using techniques including beading, bead crochet, sewing, knitting and other forms of hand construction.

Will my piece look exactly like the photograph?
Each piece is made by hand, so slight variations in shape, bead placement and finish are natural. These differences make each piece individual.

ORDERS & CUSTOMISATION

What does Made to Order mean?
Made to Order means your piece is created after your order is placed. Production time varies by design and is indicated on the product page.

Can I customise an AMIKE STUDIO piece?
Selected pieces can be customised in colour, finish or other details. For something more specific, contact us before placing your order.

Do you accept commissions?
Yes. AMIKE STUDIO accepts selected commissions for one-of-one pieces, special projects, performances, editorials and other creative collaborations.

Can I rent an AMIKE STUDIO piece?
Selected pieces are available to rent for events, performances, shoots and special occasions. Contact us with the piece, date and location you have in mind.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. AMIKE STUDIO ships from Rwanda to selected destinations worldwide.

How long will my order take?
Ready-to-ship pieces are dispatched within 5 business days. Made-to-order pieces have their production time listed on the product page. Shipping time is additional and depends on your destination.

Will I receive tracking?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information by email.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
International orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes depending on the destination.

CARE

How should I care for my AMIKE STUDIO piece?
Our pieces are made to live with you, but they should be handled with care. Store your piece in its protective packaging when not in use, keep it away from prolonged moisture and avoid placing heavy objects on sculptural or beaded forms.

Do you offer repairs?
Because our pieces are handcrafted, we may be able to repair or restore an AMIKE STUDIO piece depending on its condition. Contact us with photographs and we will advise you on what is possible.
